Marc Hardy
has presented over 400 national and international keynote speeches
and training seminars on acts of giving, client relations, team-
building, and executive presentation skills. His credentials include a
Master of Arts degree in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana
University, Indianapolis, where he is currently completing his Ph.D.
He also holds a position as associate director of grants, Institute for
Research and Scholarship at Butler University, where he is
responsible for facilitating over $3 million in research and program
funding for faculty. He is an instructor of graduate and
undergraduate courses on nonprofit management at the School of
Environmental and Public Affairs, Indiana University, Indianapolis,
and is the creator and instructor of the undergraduate honors course
“Philanthropy in the Arts” at Butler University, and the course “The
Business of Doing Good” for the College of Business Administration,
Butler University, Indianapolis. His previous nonprofit experience
includes serving as executive director for arts, education and activist
organizations, providing presidential leadership for the turnaround of
a floundering organization, as well as a founding board member and
founding artistic director of the Beckmann Theatre, Indianapolis.
Over the years he has served as a member of several boards of
directors for arts and service organizations. His corporate career
accomplishments include management leadership for business
expansion projects, and multiple award-winning sales records.
